Daniel Taiwo Odukoya, born June 15, 1956, is a Nigerian Pentecostal pastor and the senior pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, Lagos. His church has a membership strength of over 8,000 people in it’s headquarters. Taiwo Odukoya is one of the popular pastors in Nigeria and the senior pastor of The Fountain of Life Church.

Taiwo Odukoya was born in Kaduna State, where he grew up with his family. He was born on June 15, 1956, in the city of Kaduna, Kaduna State, Nigeria, where he was also raised.

He attended Baptist Primary School, Kigo Road, Kaduna, and St. Paul’s College (now known as Kufena College, Wusasa), Zaria, for his primary and secondary education.

He attended the University of Ibadan, where he graduated with a degree in petroleum engineering in 1981.

Career

After his education, he worked as a petroleum engineer at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in April 1982.

Taiwo Odukoya founded The Fountain of Life Church in 1992 alongside his late wife, Bimbo Odukoya.

The Church has several branches in South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Switzerland, Kenya, the Central African Republic, the Republic of Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, the Republic of Benin, and Togo.

Personal Life

Odukoya met Bimbo Odukoya Williams at the University of Ibadan and started a relationship, which later led to their marriage in 1984.

The union was blessed with three children. On December 10, 2005, Bimbo Odukoya, along with 102 other people, died on the crashed Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145.

On January 5, 2010, five years later, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya got remarried to Rosemary Simangele Zulu from South Africa, with the marriage blessing them with two boys.
